Some guys think taking a pic of a catfish is only required when it's huge and record breaking or something. Not so at all. There are times that i go out and chase eaters and there are times that i go after bruisers. When i get skunked on both kinds of fishing trips coming here and seeing someone else with a mess of eaters or a Goliath hanging from a wench in a tree motivates me to get back at it and not give up.Quote:

I fish to catch fish to eat I'm not real good at it but catch a few I don't have the equipment or know how to catch them big fish I'm sure it would be fun I'm trying to learn how to catch shad so maybe I can catch a little biger channels
I fish for big blues a lot but my favorite trips is when I take my wife, daughter and grandkids out and catch channel cat on slip corks with smaller equipment. We catch lots of fish so it keeps the kids entertained. They fight hard and are fun to catch. Not bad eating either.
Not a lot of things more fun than catching a nice mess of eater size channels or blues in the morning and fryin em in the eveningAttachment 274426Attachment 274427
