    Default Question about baiiting holes.........

I've been told burlap sacks will work as well as 5 gallon buckets with lids on them and holes drilled in them.
Has anyone tried gallon size milk jugs? Why couldn't 2 or 3 of these have holes drilled in them and be tied together and weighted down to bait holes? Anyone ever used milk jugs for this?

Never used milk jugs to bait a hole but it should work fine. No reason it would not work.

Anything that water can make its way through, and the substance inside will break down, will work well. I use an onion sack and range cubes to bait with. Great results.

Why use any container? We place bait in the water where the fish can get some.

Cattle feed in cube form. About the size of a biscuit or some come in brat shaped cubes.

I dont know about the un-processed but the cubes work great. You can stuff them in a wire cricket tube with a weight and hang them near your light for night fishing for crappie. The hi protein cotton seed cubes swell up and the little bait fish like em.
