Default Aluminum v bottom adding floor??

You guys who have small v bottom boats without getting real elaborate and expensive what have you used on your floors to make them easier to stand/walk on? Pictures would be great if you have them, looking to keep weight down if possible so light would be good also. thanks.

Whatever you do absolutely do not use treated wood where it will touch the aluminum or it will eat holes in the boat. It's called galvonic corrosion & it's some bad stuff.

Take a look at tiny boat nation for ideas. You don't necessarily need to buy their products, but there's lots of cool mods for small aluminum boats there. If it were me, I'd buy 1" aluminum angle, make a simple frame, and use aluminum sheets to make a new flat floor. Then you can anti skid paint it or buy some of the sea deck type flooring.
