I like that tm mount. Its all coming together really nice RCC.
Had several things to happen scheduled and unscheduled to prevent work on the boat till late this evening. Had a little while left today so I thought I would try to finish the transducer mount. I wanted to put rubber mat behind the aluminum to fill the gap between the mount and the boat, but things did not work out, so I used a piece of cutting board which I ground to shape then drilled, tapped, and fastened to the aluminum mount with #8 machine screws. This whole assembly has now been plasti-dipped and is hanging out to dry. Hopefully this will happen before the rain gets here. The screw holes for the transducer have already been drilled and tapped for #8 machine screws as well.

Plasti-dip is done. So a little final assembly is all that is needed to finish the transducer mount.
First a little leveling across the boat deck.

Once the deck is leveled, I then can level the transducer bracket...

and check how deep the transducer will run.

And there it is. A no holes drilled in the hull, transducer mount. Now what did I do with the anti-rooster tail plug:biggrin

yea I had that problem too,, raise it up, down side is you have to come down to half throttle to check depth on a spot but that shower sux
You're hired!!! :notworthy That's some good stuff.
Now that right there is brilliant! You come up with some great stuff, dude! If I ever get a boat upgrade, I want to hire you to do me a "no-holes" transducer mount! :ThumbsUp
Ok you have made me curious what is this business about 23' and 24.5'. I ask because I am planning to put a new tongue in my trailer. The trailer that came with my boat (all used ) is really to short for my boat and I have to back way to far down into the water.
FISH ON:fish
If you have a parking place for your boat that is long enough to accommodate a longer trailer, you should be good to go with a longer trailer tongue. If your boat keeping place is shorter, you may need to go some other route, such as one of those folding tongues.
