All the aforementioned rods are good! It's a matter of preference, and finding rods to do multiple duty.
I like Pro Angler myself, and have four. But I have B&M, West Point and "Custom" rods too. What ever rods you can afford, make SURE you can get replacement tips. Sooner or later.....:fish
the scr 143 ft. (not the T model ) are great for just spider rigging . No one rod does it all , well . :dono
When I first started Spider rigging I bought limit rods. Since then I've tried many different rods--some of them very expensive. I keep setting the expensive rods aside in favor of the limits. I love those rods and will continue using them. I had to chuckle the other day. A warden stopped to check our license. He commented about those very expensive rods.
BTW I use 12' rods.

I second the limit rods I have 4 12' 2 10' and and 4 8' I use them for spider rigging, long lining, jigging and using minnows under a slip float to each their own I guess.
I like my crappie maxx 14' rods. Solid rods hold 2oz weights with ease ii have go over 1oz I generally just stay home.
Those Limit rods are tough to beat, especially if you are an “occasional troller” like me.
i ended up with southern crappie 16' s i got eight of them but only using 4 till i get used to it
Is a "Limit" rod the ones sold at Grizzly, made by Pinnacle?
