Trying to learn this Crappie thing. a question has me wondering. What do the Crappie do in different times of the year....Spring= shallow water in feeder creeks looking to feed, spawn. Summer= deep water to stay cool, out of the sun? Fall= as the water cools, back to the shallows to feed for winter? Winter= back to deep water to to stay warm?
I mean after spring do they just go to local deep water or all the way to the dam..lol...to spend the summer? Leaving me to find where they are at in the return trip to shallows?
Do Crappie have a favorite water temp, a temperature where they are most active. 60 degrees, 70?
