shad in Watkins Mill?

Can anybody tell me if Watkins Mill has shad in it, if so is it legal to catch some with a throw net?

You can use a cast net there.

I didn't make this rule Dave! But the idea was to allow excess shad that are too large for most fish in the lake to use them as food to be removed for bait. In the past we never allowed netting shad in smaller lakes. I think it's a good compromise.
