Default Did you receive your Fisheries Newsletters?

My email inbox has seen a surge in Kansas Fisheries newsletters from fish bios over the last few weeks. There's been a lot of good fish info written by the local fisheries biologists for waters all across the state.

Anybody else been getting their Newsletters?

I have signed up for several of the newsletters and in my experience they are very sporadic. It has probably been a month since I have had one come through. Not sure what the deal is.

The Fisheries Newsletters are not a weekly occurrence by any stretch. Currently most bios are putting out two newsletters a year, one spring and one fall version. Others may kick out newsletters more often as special events, happenings, or hot bites occur.

There are 17 KDWPT District Fisheries Biologists across the state so if you signed up for ALL the District Newsletters you would theoretically receive 34 newsletters a year. If you only signed up for one or two districts you would receive less than 5 a year which makes them seem few and far between.

Thanks for the input crappieslinger and Chatt!

    Thanks for the reply Skinner80.

The El Dorado newsletter went out last night.

If you think you missed a newsletter, you can check the archives at Past Newsletters / News / KDWPT Info / KDWPT - KDWPT .
