    Default Grand Lake

went back to grand today and even though it took me most of the day to find 'em, i ended up with a limit....caught 10 of them on bandit 100s and shallow running norman cranks in the deepest part of the lake and the rest on road runners in 7' of water...the biggest one is 15"

Nice catch TJ!!! I always thought Grand would make a good lake for cranks. I have a friend who lives on Lake Darbonne who will be fishing Grand today. He called me last night from a motel in Greenville asking directions to Grand....he was fishing Washington yesterday and decided to try Grand today. Having to WORK during the week is a PAIN ! ! ! ! ! I want to go fishing!!!!

Great fish TJ. keep it up. I may see ya Sunday on Grand. (Unless I get my plans changed.) Hey Steve....I talked with your friend yesterday on Washington. He told me he lived on Darbonne and had put you on the fish there. LOL. He and his pard didn't have any fish trolling jigs and cranks. I quit at noon with 23 keepers, trolling jigs sloooow! I lost too many fish due to several things. Mostly 11 and 12 inchers with a few 13-14 inch fish. It was a good time though!

Hey Bill....yea he said he met to you on Washington. They wound up catching quite a few fish but not many large ones. They caught around 40 on Grand today longlining 1/4 oz jigs with 4# line to get them down deep. Had several that went over 2#'s. He said that next time he goes to Grand he will definitely bring the crank baits. I may try to hit Grand one day this weekend...maybe I'll see you out there.
