Peckerwood

Called Herman's----they said the lake is clearing up. That usually means it is muddy as all get out. Anyone been to Peckerwood?

Fished Peckerwood today----had quite a bit of color. Caught a lot of small fish. Had a few decent fish---gave them away.

I fished Monday, Tuesday, and Wensday using jigs. We only kept 49 total Crappie but some real nice slabs. Did not weigh but one and it was poor being post spawn , it weighed 2 lbs 4 oz. The day before caught one possiably bigger just did not weigh it. Fishing is slow and water is still up high. We did good on big Umbrella tube jigs deep. Sorry about no pictures but did'nt take a camera. Was'nt planning on even fishing till I visited friends there ,I had to borrow a fishing pole.:o

sounds like a good unplanned trip...sometimes those are the best ones...love the umbrella tubes
