Default Where is moss on lake hamilton?

I was told the other day that the crappie are biting right above the moss in deeper water. I was told there was some in the Little Mazarn but I did not find any but this may be due to my fishfinder, I am installing a new one today that is 10 times better. I will never buy a humminbird again, I bought two different units and they both had the same malfunction problems and this has cost me because now I am having to pay somebody else to do part of the install and the rest I am doing myself. I know there is coontail moss up by the dam but the water seems water to clear for crappie.

Beware of the false reports. The only moss on the lake is up river toward Blakley. Yes, very clear water but that doesn't mean they are not catching crappie there. It's possible. But on the other hand, I've heard that same report for years but have never personally caught any up there nor seen any creels of anyone who said they did.
