Conway or Little Maumelle in the Morning

I have been off the water for about a month becasue of work. I am heading out in the morning, but need to stay close to Little Rock. I have to be back here at 3pm.

What are the options from you guys catching fish.

hey LR,havent heard too much except out in the trees in big lake,you can get a mess,early.ceb did pretty good last 2 times here trolling on gold point.been mostly big bluegills and big redear 1lb-1 1/4.come on and try em.

I would not have my boat in the water until about 8.30. Is that too late???

Also, do you have any rosies?

hey kent that will probably work,youll be on the tail of ceb,lots area to work including the live cypress,yes i have plenty of rosies.

Hey Joe have not Fished Conway since my last report on 5-11-09, but I plan on trying them in the morning also. I will stop by out there and give you a shout off Gold Point in the morning. I had a pretty good string in the trees last time out, Family visits and process of buying a new truck has kept me busy the last week. CP

CP, I went this morning. I did manage about 23, but no keepers. Take that back, I did have two keepers. Threw both of them back. They were all small. Got most all of them off Gold Point fishing about 4 ft deep in 12 ft of water.

Wind got up, and I had to move to the trees just north of Gold Point. Did not do much there.

Hey Joe Sry did'nt get to meet ya thurs morning had to work the night before but went thurs evening and caught 7 keepers in trees in front of big cove on the east side of the lake verticle jigging. in cypress. Nothing big 10-13 inchers numbers are dropping off there for me now, time to go on the hunt. CP

What are the size and creel limits on Conway and Maumell? Is there a state limit? Thanks PS is there a place to put a big boat in on Conway? I am looking for a courtesy dock so I do not have to beach it.
