    Default A wet Chicot fishin' trip


    Hey folks! Had eleven in the box today and fishing was fine around the 5' shallow trees on a black and char 1/16 lil hustler plastic when all of a sudden........the screws holding my pedestal ripped out from the base. You know what happens when that happens? Yep!! Lost my fav hat, my glasses and wrecked my cell phone! What a RUSH!! I stink like lake water. I quit and squished home to dry out my wallet and get a hot shower. One guy at the ramp looked at me really funny. Glad he didn't say anything! Still cleaned 11 fish!

    i feel for you cause i was there last winter at lake monticello when my old pedastal broke...fell straight back and and made an awful commotion in front of about 20 other boaters...lol...you know...it's hard to run that f/c trolling motor sitting on a 48 qt igloo

    Glad you made out ok. My fall in I was so water logged barley made it back in the boat! Shake it off and try again!

    Glad your safe,I know its a bummer but everthing else can be replaced.
    I will scream like a little girl when that happens to me,I'd think something going to eat me down here,hopefully it will never happen.
