Default Did A lil Bass Fishing Friday

Went Bass fishing last friday out on Conway last Friday Caught 15 throughout the day the one im holding was the biggest at around five pounds. Fished out of Pierce Creek found them on submerged stumps in coves with a Berkley Tequilla Sunrise power worm or a Junebug 3X ribbon tail worm. The one im holding with the reel is one of about 3, 3 pounders I caught that day released them all. I'm reporting this because i don't have anything else to report but five keeper crappie and five redears I caught on Conway Sat afternoon, man the wind killed me all weekend long hope you all had better luck than me. That's a healthy looking bass!

I guess the bass are making a nice recovery after that virus that struck some years back.

I'm going to start bringing a bass rod and some tackle for the times the crappie have lockjaw, which has been pretty much every trip to Conway...

Hey CP...I really enjoyed meeting and fishing with you. My brothers left this morning. I wish the bite had been a little better for them but we had a great time anyway and ended up with about 95 fish caught total. Nothing huge with the biggest being about 3 1/2 lbs. I did catch a nice 2 lb. 9 oz. Crappie on Beaver fork this morning. We fished Conway, Brewer, Little maumelle, Barnett, Greer's, and Beaver fork. Whew... I'm tired but it was a lot of fun. Now I just need a little rest for Crappie camp....Thanks again for your help on Conway.

Not bad! How long were your worms, and what size weight did you use. I was at Bear Creek yesterday using a 1/8 oz. finesse worm but didn't have much luck. Wind was terrible! If you can't fish Bear Creek in the wind, you can't fish anywhere.
