Don't forget to see what's goin' on below the dam! I dunno what's goin' on there now but is always to drive down there and check out the action. Last year the fish cops busted two local idiots with 150 crappie!

Call Jack's Isle and see what they think.. I'd bet they are hot around the cypress trees right about now.

We went below the dam sat. caught some white bass but seen someone catch a couple crappie. When the wind blows 30mph its hard to catch anything. We did see a 12.23# bass weighed in on sat and another 11.50#er so maybe they are biteing better than the crappie

    Default Millwood Update

Okay Landing--Crappie is great--Today wind was very brisk 15-25 miles an hour. I caught close to my limit 17 nice ones early in the morning 8-12 pm. Left about 1pm. Crappie is in the shallows and I do mean shallow--I caught mine in 12-18 inches of water. Most all over a pound or more. Photos later---This cold front may shut them down---have too see.---Jim

It was my first time to Millwood and I love the lake and the crappie are pigs.Just wondering if the spawn had all ready hit, down there some said yes and some said no.Water temps back in McGuires lake was around 59-62 degrees.

Sounds like you should have tried shallow water around okay landing. Did you go with the boys from Sedalia?
