    Default Slow Day

Got on the water a little late, bout 830-9 fished till noon and only bagged 2 black crappie. Wind had picked up and everyone I talked with didnt do much better. The ones I did catch were bout a foot deep in 2-3 FOW using minnows. Water temp still creeping into high 50's and barely 60 when out of the wind.

With colder temps headed this way next week, fishin and tryin to "catch the spawn" is gonna be even more difficult.
Over all nice day to motor around and wet a hook.

It was slow for me today, hopefully it was a slow day, or I forgot how to catch them.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Yesterday was slow for me too,did catch a few,the eggs where a few weeks off yet maybe more.

Today wasn't any better, all throw backs, did however catch the blackish crappie I've even seen.Almost total black,if it hadn't been hand size I would have mounted it.

Fighting the wind gust wasn't fun today, trying to land the jig close to limbs and trees was tough.

It was slow for me on Greers. My Mom and Sister came up from Mississippi and wanted to fish so we tried to slow troll with the pontoon. Wind and pontoon and slow troll do not work. I think they caught 10 but not the size that I have been catching. Still a good day to be on the water with a parent that loves to fish.

I fished Brewer and only managed only 6 before getting blown off the lake. I talked to at least a dozen other fisherman and it was slow for everyone.
