Welcome to the board luvin.fishin, really glad you joined us. That boat traffic can be something on Connerly once the word gets out. Thanks for the report, keep them coming.

Fishing was really slow! Still haven't moved in on the bank yet. Caught 9 keepers and had fun just rocking and rolling with the traffic! Really windy today.

A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

It was busy on Connerly today and the fishing was slow for me too ended up with 8 keepers. I didn't think it would be that crowded on a weekday.
Thanks Jerry.. Hey didja notice the crappie were right on the bank?! 12"-18" of water. Caught 7 yesterday but went to Grand Lake today and brought 22 home. Nothing big, maybe 1-1/2 lb but fun.
Welcome aboard...good catch...thanks for posting.
I haven't been to Connerly much since the boat traffic got so bad. Thanks for the report on Grand, I may have to hit it soon.

luvinfishin, were you trolling or fishing the trees? Hey Jerry don't worry about Connerly for a few days b/c after last nights rain it is muuuuudddddyyyyyy and it's going to be even worse after tonight and Friday night.![]()
Yeah I'm sure with the farming activities and all this rain you'll be able to see animal tracks crossing the bayou.

I did pretty good yesterday even with all the fresh water I scatched out 15 nice crappie. I started in Ditch and ended up going to Connerly but fished in the lake, it won't be long and lake will be right, unless it rains 10 inches in the next few days. If I remember right about this time last year we got a lot of rain and it messed everything up in Chicot, about the time the crappie should have spawned.![]()
Yeah the lake should be getting good, did you happen to get the water temp in the lake.
