Default Heading to Conway in the AM

Going to try to be there pretty early and heading to Gold Creek. If any of you guys see a camo war eagle with a 25 hp merc, swing by and say hi. I will probably have my 4 yr old girl with me.

Hope you have a great day Allen, and hope the wind isn't too rough.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Chris, when I told her that we were going fishing in the am, all I could get out of my mouth was fish before she started jabbering about it. She will definately NOT be a problem getting up to go. I hope you show up, I will put her in the boat with you around 9 am. I'm sure she will have talked my ears off by then!

coondog, I sent you a PM. I plan on leaving mickey d's around 6 in the am for anyone else wanting to join the convoy.

When I take my kids, I just tell myself that I am going to get to fish for about an hour. Anything above that is a bonus.

Now that ceb is married, it would be good for us to bring our kids when he is fishing. He could be the "babysitter of the lake". We could drop them off in his boat in one hour time slots. This is the cheapest birth control he could buy.

Sorry Allen, I'm just not going to make it today. Stuck my head outside this morning to see the trees laid over at about a 45 degree angle...just didn't feel like battling the wind again today. Hope y'all catch a few...A few crappie in the livewell seem to grasp the mind of a 4 y/o pretty well.

Not much action guys. I ended up keeping 3 smaller crappie (She caught all three) and caught a handful of dinks. All caught on a chart tube jig with pink head (1/32) tipped with a rosie. All caught in around the foot bridge. Wind was blowing just short of Katrina for most of the morning. Little girl was a trooper. Stuck with it until she discovered that I left the tater chips in the car.

I still got to spend some quality time with my youngest. She is turning 5 yrs old on the 20th. I'm sure in 10 yrs or so, I will want this day back.
