And to make it worse the boat traffic in the bayou was terrible. Went back to Connerly bayou fri. and today and it was some rough fishing. It's hard to control the boat in 25 mph winds and some inconsiderate boaters that come by at full or half throttle in a small bayou. If the wind isn't blowing you over your spot then someone is washing you up on the bank. But it was still enjoyable being on the water. My friend Bobby and I caught 18 Friday and 15today. We had some better fish yesterday, with one that Bobby caught that was 2 lb. 2 oz. Didn't catch any over 2 today but still had some nice fish. All caught on jigs about 6 ft. deep in 8-10 fow. Water is warming nicely, today when we left it was 58 degrees. It won't be long if it stays warm and they will be moving shallow. If I can figure out where I can get out of the wind I'm going to somewhere less crowded tommorow. Don't mean to be complaining about the boaters, because it's their water too, just saying the fishing might have been better somewhere else.

Bobby with the 2-2 yesterday.
