I'm sure glad someone had a good day Jerry! ! ! That's a great catch and sounds like you had a good day, even with the frogg's.

But the crappie wanted to go to the fish fry. Went back to Chicot today, and it was too windy for the lake, so I went up into the bayou. The fish started as soon as I put the jig in the water, my biggest for the day hit first. I had 5 good fish in about 15 min. The action was pretty good all morning, had to put the Frogg Toggs on about 10:30 and made a run back down the bayou when the thunder started about 11:30 to a friends dock, in case it got rough. Had my limit by 1pm, and was catching some good 13 inch fish, so i culled some 10.5 to 11 inch fish in the rain. Left about 1:30 and had a really good time. Caught them on a orange jig head with chartruese and red glitter tube, most about 5 ft. deep. The good ones I was catching at the last were about 8 ft. deep. The best fish was 15 in. and weighed 2 lb even.

WTG!! Nice fishin! Glad you had a good outing!
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
I caught 2 ten inchers this afternoon in three hours of awesome wind. Is there room for one more person down your way?
Don't outsmart your common sense!

CATCH A BIG-UN
Nice catch and the toggs show dedication to the sport!!!
Good fish Jerry. Co worker was asking me about Chicot the other night and I told him I haven't seen any post from there lately. Too bad I won't see him for a little over a week. I told him to keep a check on the board, but don't know if he has ever checked it out. He really doesn't know what he is missing.....
