Hey, I'm new to the forum and run into a fellow forum member who told me about this site. I believe he goes by crappiekiller. Anyway, I just got back from Nimrod and didn't get any. I was up there more to get the boat out and make sure it's ready to go. We put in at Carter Cove and went across to where the river comes in. I hooked one, but it got off. It may have been a bass, I didn't get a good enough look at it.

I also meant to say that the best luck seems to be below the dam right below where you park.

Didn't do any good at Nimrod in the main lake. Main lake temp 51. Went way up the river to Sunlight Bay and caught 7 pretty nice ones. 5 foot of water & 56 degrees. It was their lucky day...was froze by the time I got back to the ramp so I let 'em go.
