Default Almost a limit/Dix Creek Gooduns

2-13-09 Caught 18 keepers out of Gold Creek, fish in the sink just about an average day for me on Gold Creek lately. Caught in three different places along Gold Creek. Had the pleasure of fishing with Dano/Gold Creek BaitShop
owner as I caught some of these. Thanks for the company Dano. CrappiePro

2-12-09 Fished Dix Creek Lake Conway could only manage four fish in five hours, but did catch two over 15 inches verticle jigging timber. Dix creek is a pleasure to fish, its like its own little lake with all WMA surroundings. Nice place to go if you want to get away on Conway. Great night time YoYo fishing, set yoyo's about 6" to a foot deep in the evening and wake up to some big slabs here. Saw bass activity all over this place and the only boat I saw was two bass fisherman who caught three nice ones in the short time I was in contact with them. Wished I brought my bass rods. CrappiePro

I have loaded up with red ears in the little cove by the landing/camp ground in Dix creek. The one off of Adam's landing road. I never could find em as big as I do in Gold Creek. But, they are more willing when you find them.

Used to slide a little 12 foot in at Green's Lake on Conway years ago. Could wear the crappie out on a crawdad colored beetle spin in March and April.
