It has been a while since I have been able to make a report. I had every intention of getting the boat out last Saturday. But, that was before Adam called and invited me to go with him and the kids to a catfish pond. If you are a Paw Pa, you know what my choice was.
I arrived at his house around 8:30. We had to wait for the 5 year old to clean up her stuff out of the living room. Then we were off to Walmart by 9:15 for hooks and stink bait. During the Walmart trip, Adam decided may be we should go back to the house for one more "Potty" run. The 3 year old didn't want any part of pottying and decided he didn't like his shoes either. Around 11, we had all of the pottying and shoes lined out and had made it to the pond. As soon as the lines were out we started eating the weenies and chips. Occasionally feeding the fish some cheetoes or crackers and giving all of the puppies and kitties bites of weenies. When all of the snacks were gone, we were still hungry and decided to go to Burger King. We made it back to the pond around 2 in the afternoon and spent the rest of the day playing around the pond and finding a sand pile left over from some construction. We also found out that the kitties knew about the sand pile too.
It was a good day with only one fish we named "Stupid" biting all day.

Some of the new comers might wonder why I am taking up your time with this report. It hasn't been a year ago that I had custody of these kids and wondered if Adam would ever see the light. He has not only turned into a loving and caring father, their mother has turned the corner too. He makes sure they are in church with him every Sunday morning. I thank God that I can tell you of his progress and thanks for the prayers and concerns my freinds on this board have expressed.
