I was on Brewer yesterday....Temps were 47-49
Hey dog....no I didn't...Talked to a couple of other fisherman and no one had gotten a bite...the water is almost into the parking lot and pretty stained from the rain....I'll probably wait a few weeks before trying again. Have you been using that new boat of yours any?
CastandBlast,
Yessir I have been doing my best but since it's been cold my luck has been slim and none. Hoping these warmer temps will help my luck.
Good luck with your back surgery.
Greeson was around 49 in the main channels and up to 55 up the creek arms where the water is dingy. Found some crappie moving in shallow checking out the warmer temps too.
Going to run around on Lake Nimrod today while checking water temps in backwaters, northern banks, and opposite ends of the lake. I would like to make notes of the differences found. Also will fish the warmest water to check for males moving in and out.
CATCH A BIG-UN
Surface temp was 52 at Lake Monticello last Thursday in the open water.
From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
Thanks dog....I got a short reprieve....they've rescheduled me for the 27th. I've been trying to get a little fishing in while I can....not doing much catching though.
