    Default Horseshoe lake Arkansas 2-1-09

    My partner and I fished Horseshoe today and zeroed out. We were fishing both minnows and jigs in 21-27 feet of water. The fish I saw on my finder were hugging the bottom. There were only 3 other boats fishing and none of them had any fish. I left at noon.

    Any more recent reports on horseshoe for the week. May try it on saturday. Wind is supposed to be high.

    Went down saturday and caught 15 around the deep ends of piers.

    Anyone trolling lately??? I'm thinking of maybe going Saturday b/c with the North winds... Appreciate any info. Haven't been in a while. Can't quit going to Sardis with them biting the way they have been the last few weeks...

    Had some friends try Horseshoe this morning. They nearly got blown off the lake and didn't do any good.

    Crappie 123, where and how are you catching them on Sardis?
