Wow nature done put brush all over the lakes and rivers,be so many brush piles in some of the area lakes you cann't fish for them lol.Bait fish will have plenty of hiding spots to chose from mading it harder for the crappie to get a meal or hide from the jig. From a good spawn last year of both bait fish and game fish and with all the extra brush nature has supplied fishing should be good this year.
Electric is still off running off a gen.,looking on the bright side of things with this in thought wow at the brush piles.

Man the last time I ran a generator (for four days) gasoline was 3.75 a gallon! ...but I didn't get cold. lol
Wishin' you the best, buddy.

Going on 7 days without power and have already learned to make sure the gen has enough gas to run all night.Getting up at 2 or 3 am to refill was cold and dangous.Sure glad gas isn't 3.75 altho when the ice fall gas was 1.69 and now its in the 1.90ies.You didn't think to much about the cost until it adds into days and days of refilling.
Think it was back in 2002 we had another ice storm that put alot of brush into the lakes and rivers.Fishing was good that year altho getting hungup alot more wasn't uncommon.I only cast for pan fish and casting into a tangle of small limbs in 8 to 12 feet of water was tickly....come on sgring time lol
