does anyone have any information on blue mountain lake? when do they start pre-spawn and what colors they prefer mostly for this lake? ty:D

Blue Mountain is very popular for wade fishing in the spring.

I dont start having luck there till early March. I use a black/blue or red /chart color. Usually the river bite starts first around Sugar Creek or third bridge.

i fish the river most of the time it is kind of dingy water so i use bright colored jigs it is has been reel good for me this fall oct nov and dec on the creek channel break in the river around hise landing

My advise is in winter when it's slow ''build and they will come''. Here we place structures on poor fish days.
