Default Whats Your Favorite Waters in Arkansas

Just wanted to find out where everybody likes to fish? I will start off by telling you two of my favorite spots are Lake Conway and the Arkansas River North of Little Rock. If I wanted to travel more than an hour from my house it would be to the lower white river oxbows. Ok your turn.

I am currently boatless and since this is a slower time of year for dumptrucking i will be that way for a while. I try to focus my fishing (from the bank) around lake Conway, (89 bridge, Pierce creek, Adams Creek, Caney Creek), AR River Hydro, Murry L&D and David D. Terry L&D. When i get with a buddy with a boat...we may be at Conway, Little Maumelle, Clear Lake or Plum Bayou.

What can I say? For consistent large size crappie year round my Arkansas pick has to be the local pothole here -- Lake Monticello
    From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !

I just love being on any lake really...but if I had to choose..Dierks lake in Southwest Arkansas would be my pick. A little of all types of structure...away from EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY..and just peaceful...its awsome!! :D

I love Cane Creek, Columbia and Chicot. I have a local oxbow off the saline I like to hit on occasion.
