    Default Nimrod winter time jiggin


    I caught @ 60 or so today on jigs. No slabs and very few keepers. Fishing jigs right off the bottom in 20' + water. Can't locate slabs yet ?
    Any ideas ?

    Maybe you can get 'em into a pattern over there. I'd still be happy with 60 tater chips, better than anything going on round here...

    Did you catch 'em on the bottom of brushpiles or clean bottom around them?

    Most were on natural cover washed in on the bottom of the river. I did have a mess of fish, just no slabs. Best 10 were 9'' to 11.5'' Crappie. But when your fish hungry ,beggers can't be to choose'y. Might have caught more but a couple of guys fishing the banks saw me catch one and moved on my spot after see'n me catch a keeper..
