    Default wet day on Greer's

I decided to fish at Choctaw since the knowledgeable weatherman said it wouldn't rain until late afternoon or evening. I launched at 10:30 and it started to rain just as I lowered my trolling motor. No worries... I have one of those high dollar rain suits.....open up the storage box and reliaze i haven't put it back in the boat since duck season......DANG!.....Oh well I decided to tough it out and glad I did....I found them right up in the brush with the ol' 12' jig pole.....I managed around 30 with most being small like the one in the pic but had 8 real nice ones in the live well when I finally got soaked thru and chilled so I ended throwing them all back and headed for the house and dry clothes.

Why did you throw them back? Were they too small?
Conservatism is derived from experience while liberalism is derived from ideology.

no...the 8 I threw back from the live well were real nice slabs but I just had all the fun I could stand so I thanked them for the pull and let em go to fight another day...
