Nice looking catch. I've tried it a couple of times, but not really long enough. I guess I just don't have the confidence yet. How deep do you normally start out with a rig like this during this time of year?

Great looking fish I wish we had some 3 pounders here.
I have never tried this method except when they are in the shallow water during the spawn. Maybe I should try this during the winter months. I guess its just a trial and error thing until you find the right combination?
do you set these round bobbers up like a slip rig?
I just use the basic clip on bobbers
