    Default Greer's Ferry 11-14

I took my grandson up to Greer's today. I thought we'd give the Bandits one more try before we get in full duck hunting mode...It was kind of slow but we always have a good time just hanging out together doing a little eating and goofing....he finally gave out...We ended up with 9 decent fish...no giants but every one was right at 1 1/2 lb....got to try out my new digital scale today :D....we timed it just right and pulled away from the lake as the skies opened up!

Good trip with the grandson, looks like you wore him out.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Thats awsome, kids need that....the outdoors....the ability to know how to unwind and get away from "serious" life for a while. My students many times get so caught up in the hussle and bussle of their lives they never really stop and take a breath. Times like that is what will always stand out in his mind. I admire that!! Keep that up!
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 25:15

This is fishing at its best!

The story is just great but those photos are the real treasure. Your grandson will cherish them when he is grown.

Thanks so much for sharing. <><
