    Default Another crappie day.

Had another pretty good crappie day. We fished the same borrow pit as yesterday, we just fished the morning and had to move a deer stand this afternoon. We tried rosey reds today and yesterday with no luck, still catching on blue and chartruese jigs. Ended up with 24 crappie and 6 bluegill today. It was windy and a lot warmer today, but still enjoyable.

Bobby with the first goodun this morning.

    Three gooduns.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

You two are in the groove with these bar pit specks! Catch 'em while you can.

Who needs rosies, anyway??? I may have to try that color combo on Ouachita next time out.

    Thanks for sharing!!

Blue and Chartreuse jigs are excellent on the Ar river in fall and winter. As long as tge water is not the color of chocolate milk.
