Fears ago my brother and I would slay the bass at CC by tubing. I wouldn't do that now, fearin' the gators.
Never fished it for crappie though. It's good to hear a CC post and to see some great photographs. THANKS!

Stay on em Jerry, it wont be long:D
Thanks for the pics and the report.
You are smack dab in the middle of God's country when it comes to some great fishing.
I really enjoy your posts.
I grew up fishing Moore's bayou, Merrisach, Coal Pile, Taylor Old River, Woods Old River.
Of all the places we fished, Taylor Old River was hands down the best place I have ever fished in my life. That was 30 years ago though. There was no boat ramp. You had to man handle your boat up and down a steep cutout in the bank. I heard they had stopped access there, but I'm not sure bout that.
Thanks for the pics and report, Jerry. That's a beautiful pic of the lake. Looks like I will be draggin' the boat down to "visit the inlaws" this weekend. What's your plans this weekend, Jerry? I'm thinkin' about CC and morgan point.
Way to go, Jerry. Those are some more beautiful fish you caught. Keep 'em coming. Ray
For those who'd like a look at the area we fish around Cane Creek, here's a video I found while surfing youtube... YouTube - Cruisin' the Beaver Pond - Cane Creek Lake
