Were they better than the normal Horseshoe fish? They are normally just big enough to clean and not filet.

Nimrod I wish I could post pics, but my youngest boy threw my $300 digital camera in the tub with the rest of his toys. gbaddour1 we were jigging the piers, LR joe1 they were bigger than normal horseshoe crappie, we only caught around 5 that were to small to filet, mostly 11-12 inch crappie with some that were 14-15 inches.

Sounds like y'all had a good time, slab. I'll be bringing my boat with me when I head over to Eastern AR to visit my parents next week. Keep us updated with a weekend report.

    Default Horseshoe last weekend

Got in some good action this past weekend at the shoe. Brought home 38 that were all in the 12-13 inch range, found the majority of them in 12-14 fow just off the bottom. Will be back this weekend!

    Default hudnut

    Hudnut,

Sounds like you smoked them. Did you catch them trolling minnows or jiggin in the docks.

    Thanks,
    Ringo
