I went this afternoon before the rain started....I didn't have much luck, managed just 4 with only 1 good sized one. Couldn't get a bite in the pool. Caught the 4 in the channel on the way back. The bite may have been better earlier. It looked like a mass exodus of boats coming out as I went in.

I did Gold Creek on Sunday, and I got a TON of small ones. The big uns have not moved in yet. They will get there when the water gets in the low 60's.
Gold Creek is in Lake Conway. The GE image is Google Earth.

the water came up about 10-12 inches,that ought to be good for the crappie,no report yet.

treedog,im on the east side of 365-inbetween the highway and freeway.(gold creek landing rd.)-gravel rd.4miles north of mayflower.action pretty slow today so far.
