    Default Nimrod jiggin

My son and I fished awhile this morning. The wind was a little rough so we went up river to do most of our fishing. We kept 22 this trip , a good mess but no real slabs. Had 3 over 13'' and 8 that were 11 to just under 13''. Made 5 lbs of fillets, good enough for about 3 meals for us 3 at home.:D
We just fished brushpiles in about 8' of water with pink/white 1/8 oz 2'' umbrella tubes. Maybe the fall bite this time will be good.

Congrats on the catch, Nimrod. Sounds like a good fishing trip, I know your lake has been really high for most of the season, hopefully you'll have a good fall and winter. Thanks for the report.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Seems like you're back in the swing of things with the lake back to normal.

I was on Ouachita yesterday and fished hard for 8 --no keepers.

    Maybe Tuesday!
