Snow lake is actually a town. It is located at the very south tip of Phillips county. There is a lake right there next to it called Mellwood if I remember correctly. This lake is a Mississippi river oxbow, and can be a very good lake at times. It has been a long time since I have been there, but I think that there is a ramp on the north side of the lake, I cant remember how much they charge.

Yep---for folks like us in East Ark, Snow Lake is at the end of the world! It is a community, and like g&g said, Mellwood is close by. There are other private lakes as well, and the White River Refuge.

Snow Lake is a town and the road really does come to an end there. They may be referring to Stimson Spur as the fishing spot. It can be very good but there is no way for the public to get in anymore. You have to know someone that will let you put in on their property. Many have trollies that go to the oxbow.
