7 Mile Lake
Went yesterday, caught 32 with the biggest being 14". Several 1-1 1/4 lb just the right filleting size!
Black/White Jig with large 1/4 oz. painted white head with "black" eyes painted on it. Fished the "new" tops that were blown over by the recent storms. Fished 32-36" deep in the morning and wound up at 12-18" deep by 1:00 p.m.
If you are looking for a quick trip and have a small flatbottom, it's worth the travel. Fish are VERY aggresive and seem to be pre-staging?
Hope the tip helps out!
