    Default Labor day weekend fishing

Kathy and I went to Pendleton park camping this weekend. We had a great time and some decent fishing for this hot weather. I fished Coal pile area of the river Friday and caught 7 ok fish. Saturday, Kathy and I fished Coal pile again and caught 8 crappie. I went to Moore's bayou sunday, Kathy wouldn't go because of the alligators, and caught 21 fish with some decent sized crappie. Went back to Moore's this morning for a couple of hours before packing up to go home and didn't get a bite. Where'd they go. Anyway had a good time, and looking forward to some cooler weather so the fishing will get better.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Good looking catch Jerry. When do you think the bite on CC will start? I sure want to get back down there.

They started about the last week of Sep. last year. Hopefully we'll get some cooler days and nights soon to let the lake cool down some, then it'll be on.
