    Default Lake Hougue

Anyone know when Lake Hougue is stocked with the tilapia? And if you have fished for them, what tricks/bait/etc did you use. I hear they fight good and they do taste yumyum good......

not sure on when they stock them, but you can call the AGFC office there in J'boro, and they should be able to tell you, actually they should already be in there if they are going to be this year. Tricks, just like redears, a worm on bottom, light hook, light sinker.

It might be posiible that a few live through the winter to do some spawning. I never have made it up there during the winter die off. But, I hear it is amazing how much they have grown since being stocked.
