I had the gas bottles stolen off my RV at a COE park last year. I was fishing Lake Bull Shoals, and when I came back the bottles were gone. I just got my CCP in the mail and you can bet your bippy I'll not go unarmed anywhere, anyhow, anymore. Tight lines.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!

Would you please tell me where exactly the theft happened? Knowledge is power. I live near Hamilton and just would like to keep abreast of the issues. I keep my ear pretty close to the ground and you can never tell when something might come up that could that could solve this type of deal.

I would dearly love to see some of these morons come to justice! <><

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back on the forums. The largemouth around here have been going crazy!!!

The incident happened over at Kahuna. It wasn't exactly busy, but it wasn't completely dead, either. The more we think about it, the more it seems it may have been (God forbid) another fisher. There were several boats around that day and we think someone may have seen us tearing up the bass and got jealous. But, seeing as my boss is a former tournament fisherman, he just knows where the fish are. Nothing special about it. He used to fish on Hamilton every day of the week to keep track of the fish.

On a side note, we went to DeGray this weekend and came back to four flat tires on the trailer and three on the truck. Things are just getting out of hand. We've pretty much decided that we are just going to fish the oxbows around here for a while, atleast until the people doing these things start getting themselves caught.

I know the county Sheriff here is a big fisherman and has had some problems lately, too. He's added every backwoods, out of the way lake in the county to regular, hourly patrol. The last three times we went to Piedron, there's been a deputy there while we launched.

Also, I know not a lot of you guys are from around here, but Big Muddy, Little Muddy, and Little Johnson in Ouachita county are starting to get their crappie bites back up. We've seen a few guys limiting out in less than an hour. Once fall hits, it'll be alot better.

Gonna be a negative on all of them. If you're looking at Little Johnson on Google Earth, the lake down the same road on the right (as driving, west via compass) is Little Muddy. If you follow that road back out until it comes to a T then head south, the lake on the left (east) is Big Muddy.

If you decide to fish them, let me know.

They were arrested and jailed. The gal told them where they got the stuff. The sad part is this is the third offense for the same thing! They were out of jail in 6 hours!
The judge that released them just got reelected last week.
yep they're strealing catalytic converters like they're goin out of style around louisiana, its not even safe to go to the state parks

its terrible there too. if your window isnt broken out , you got real lucky.also any thing left in truck will be gone.thugs and punks ride through lookin for vehicles to hit. doesnt matter if its broad daylight.this goes for both sides of the dam, little rock side and scott/northlittle rock side. as far as police yea they come around, once in a blue moon.
