Big fish on Wally Marshall 14'

Pictured is a buffalo I landed Monday at Horseshoe. He weighed 17 lbs and after 20 minutes I got him. He ain't much but the rod and I held up fairly well. We were trying to catch a few crappie but somehow he got in the mix. Even though, it was still fun!

Did you catch very many crappie. Any size to them.

We caught about 24. Wind got up too high after the big fish and we had to quit at 11:00. I have had a lot of worse days than that. Fish ran a little bigger than Horseshoe regular.
