bayou meta access in pine bluff

Went to pine bluff this afternoon and ate at chili's. when we were pulling out to leave I noticed a new agfc sign that said Bayou Meta access so i drove down there and there was a nice ramp and it looked like a great place to fish. I was wondering if anyone had ever fished there or on bayou meta and had any luck. I will definitely try it someday.

If your talking about the access on the northwest corner of the Walmart parking lot, behind the strip with the Radio Shack and what not, "white rock" road going down to it........................thats Bayou Barthalemew (spelling is wrong). Longest bayou (bayou by definition) in the nation I believe. There are some crappie in spots but the body of water has struggled with point and non-point source polution over the years. I belive there is still an advisory on it. If thats where you were, you were many miles away and on the other side of the Arkansas River from Bayou Meto.
