    Default Lake Conway Report

Any report on Lake Conway. I was there on Sunday. Just one nice slab, but the Redear fishing was pretty good on the flats by Gold Creek Landing. Don't know what is wrong with the crappie. Anybody doing any better??

crappie, some still being caught on the cypress trees 3-7 ft deep, redears moving into the flats, hitting crickets and redworms.bass fair on flukes, spinnerbaits.catfish fair on trotlines,yo yo's producing good results of crappie and catfish at night.lake level is normal full pool and stable.water temp is 67-70 degrees.clarity is good.

Is the area by Gold creek sheltered enough from the South wind? Was looking for somewhere to go tomorrow, but supposed to be very windy
