Default water levels and flood control

been watching the CoE web pages and it indicates that the water levels are being managed conservatively. I'm sure thats the right way to do it.

What is the expected or planned return to normal pool?
that is,, if the rain don't fall and the creek don't rise.

I am no engineer and everything you here from one is predicated upon what happens next. How's that for an answer? I do keep up with the educated guesses on the Arkansas and Mississippi rivers. I am afraid they are in for the long haul to straiten out to normal pool and current levels. I hear guesses that barge traffic will resume in a couple of weeks with restricted flows. Normal operations will resume by June. I don't know if the back log of barges will be caught up by then though. I have barges stranded in Little Rock that I loaded in February.
