I hope so. I have a trip planned with Jerry on the second week of May.

The water was starting to drop on saturday when we were down there this weekend. Hope they can drop it to normal levels in the next few weeks.

We haven't been back to Greeson for a few days. They are dropping it pretty fast. It was at 557.67 as of 7:00 this evening - down from 559.26 at 7:00am Saturday so in two and a half days they brought it down over a foot and a half. Once they get it down so it isn't spread out so much they'll be able to drop it even faster - up to a foot a day. They'll probably keep dropping it until it gets down to 548 or 549 so they still have at least 8.5-feet to go. If they drop it an average of 10-inches a day it's going to take another 10 days or so to get it back down near "Full Pool". While it's dropping that fast I would expect the crappie bite to be really slow but as soon as it stabilizes they'll get busy spawning and a lot of them will be ready for a boat ride. I guess I'll be fishing for trout and walleye for a while. We should be able to find some crappie in the same area but haven't so far. We'll do some more checking around tomorrow. The water in the river is in the mid 50s so if we can find some warmer water in some of the chutes off the river I think we'll find some crappie.
