    Default Boat wanted

I thought I see if any of you might know of a boat for sale...I'm looking for a 05 or newer War eagle, express, sea ark, or similar boat, camoed out for duck hunting and also set up for fishing. I want something in the 16' range with about a 40hp with power t/t, live well, t/m, ff, ect. I'm hoping to find some one that has bought one in the last couple of years and wants to get out from under the payments. So if any of you know of a good buy out there I'd really appreciate a heads up. Thanks!

I don't have a boat for sale, but I just wanted to warn you about war eagle. I have had
my war eagle (15 42) for 1 year and have had nothing but problems with it. Everything from leaking welds and leaking plumbing on the live well to brackets breaking and the camo paint is already wearing off. The craftsmanship is pretty poor. I also know of two other new war eagles (16 48) that already have cracked welds on them. I have buddies that have had war eagles since the 90's and have put them through hell and they are still good boats. I use my boat but I don't abuse it. I guess they're just not built like they used to be.

I hate to hear that waterturkey....I have a 93 15' war eagle with a 25 johnson and it's been (and still is) a great boat. That's why I was leaning towards another war eagle, but I appreciate the heads up about the newer ones.

I have an 05 648 War Eagle with a 25 Merc on it. (Bayou Meta Torpedo.) The only problem with it so far is that it hasn't toted out 3 limits of greenheads at once or 2 limits of crappie at once

Bobberwatcher, you wouldn't happen to know Dr. Harry Bryant the Veterinarian that lives there in Sheridan would you? He is my brother-in- law. He is an avid crappie fisherman also.

No, sure don't, but I am new to Sheridan. I will probably meet him before too long though. You need to talk him into signing up on here. Me and JohnR (sheridan as well) fish alot together. Maybe we can all get together, go fishing and tell some lies!

i have an 95 crappie stick steer war eagle, and a 07 1542FLD both boats are like tanks and I have never had a problem with either, the 1542 catches alot trees. I think the paint thing is normal to wear off aluminum, which is hard to get paint to stick to anyway

Hey Gut Shot, You can pick your friends and your nose but you can't pick your family, and sometimes you can't pick your In-Laws. So I won't hold your Bro In Law agin ya. Seriously Dr. Harry has worked on my beagle hounds for around the past 20 years or so. I might even go as far as saying he's a pretty good Vet but you'd probably tell him I said that and that may give him the Big Head and he'd raise his prices. LOL

Thanks for the input brgolden....I'm leaning towards a 648. I was hoping someone here might know where one like I'm looking for might be for sale, but apparently my thread has been hijacked.
