Hey DP, I guess I'm about as lost as you. Got some fishing time this weekend, but just can't decide what to do with it. Guess I'm headin' SE. Good luck where ever you end up...

I got one shot at a fishing trip until June. The Mrs is still letting me have the day off that was scheduled for Crappie Camp. I was thinking about going red ear hunting on Conway but, crappie in Overcup might be a better bet. I can guess what the water conditions are; has anybody got a report or heard of one?

I think you have the right idea..Go to a smaller lake they usually tend not to be up so much...May be a little muddy, but if the crappie are getting ready to spawn they should bite.....
