Little Maumelle River or Arkansas River?

Has anyone been doing any good up in the cypress trees in the Little Maumelle River? or below Murray L & D on the Arkansas?

I've tried both and the high water seems to have them scattered, or maybe I'm not the right rig. I was trying a yellow or white jig.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I heard the Whites are below Murray and biting on a curly tail jig. I guess its gotta be big though, with all that water

I would love to go to the LMR this week, but I don't know about the water. They should be doing well in the shallows.

Is that the boat launch there below 430? Is thtat the only launch for LMR, besides at Pinacle SP?

No, you can go to River Valley Bait, and there is a private launch just across the RR tracks on the right as you are going to River Valley Bait.

What color jigs usually works the best in the LMR?

Always use rosey reds. I get them at Kings One Stop.

Fished lil maumelle down by the mouth last week, caught a 2lb crappie and a 1lb crappie in 15' of water about a foot off the bottom. Caught a few bass and catfish on that big flat. Both crappie were caught on rosies...
